PIES
Chicken and Tarragon Pie £9.95 Strips of succulent chicken breast are sautéed in butter with chopped onion, fresh tarragon and white wine. They're finished with cream for a delectable smoothness.
Beef and Mushroom Pie £9.95 A rich, intensely tasty pie. Prime Aberdeen Angus beef from Blackmount Organics is casseroled slowly with mushrooms, chopped onion, and red wine. It's then baked to perfection in a pie, which will tingle your taste buds.
Venison Pie £9.95 Collops of venison from award winning Highland Game marinated in olive oil, red wine, juniper, oranges and herbs; cooked and finished with Heather Honey, placed on a bed of shredded steamed potatoes and baked in a pie.
Haddock Pie with creamy leek sauce £9.95 Fresh-fish lovers will fall for these. Simple Simon prepares them with undyed, fresh, North Sea Haddock fillets, which are gently poached in a leek and white wine sauce. They're flavoured with Tayside dill and parsley, and finished with double cream.
Mediterranean Vegetables with Feta Cheese Pie (V) £9.95Aubergine, courgette, peppers, onion, garlic, black olives and capers are sautéed in olive oil, then casseroled gently with feta cheese. These prime, fresh southern ingredients make a pie that is bursting with flavour, and will have the meat-eaters wanting a share, too.
